Welcome to Wroughton Junior School
Wroughton Junior school is situated in the village of Wroughton one mile south of Swindon. It has twelve classes covering the four years of Key Stage Two. A lot of work has been carried out in the last few years to improve both the facilities within the building and the grounds around the school. We have now refurbished all the main classrooms and the school hall. The school front entrance has new art work inside based around African art, and outside we have a sculpture - our ballerina. She was named WISH by one of the pupils -
| W |
for Wisdom |
| I |
for Independence |
| S |
for Success |
| H |
for Happiness |
-to remind us of what Wroughton Junior School is all about.
In the school grounds we have a tree area of traditional trees like oak and ash and willow. These are now quite large and are used as a background to lessons like art and science. They also provide a shady spot in summer. The school also has a mature willow tree in the ground that is used as the school logo. Click here for our school prospectus.
